Shelf Life Typically 2 years or more when stored in a cool, dry place.
Other Names Talstar, Brigade, Capture, Bifenthrine, Bifenthrin
Target Object A broad spectrum of insects including termites, ants, cockroaches, ticks, mosquitoes, and agricultural pests (e.g., moths, beetles).
Mode of Action Sodium channel modulator. It is a Type I pyrethroid insecticide that disrupts nerve function by keeping sodium channels open, leading to paralysis and death (knockdown effect).
Synergistic Blending Guide Often blended with Imidacloprid, Acephate, or Chlorpyrifos for enhanced systemic action and control of resistant pests. Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) is used as a synergist.
Core Principle of Blending To combine quick knockdown and long residual activity with systemic action, broadening the insecticide spectrum and effectively managing insect resistance.
